6th Science Chapter 7 Atoms and Molecules

Welcome to the first weeks of school I hope you are enjoying Middle School and your new friends. As we progress through the year I will post extra resources to help you better understand the academics taught in each chapter.

We are beginning the school year with a study of atoms and molecules basically because these skills are needed before you can successfully understand most of what will be presented later.

Intro to "What is an Atom"

This is a good summary to use before we discuss in class and then as a review. It does not go into a lot of detail but covers the basic.

ADVANCED Atomic Structure

Not for the faint of heart. I am including this video for students that want to go deeper in their understanding of the atom. This is OPTIONAL and you will not be tested based on the truths presented.

Atoms in Motion App

Yes there are iPad apps for Science and in this case the app lets you explore molecular movements. These concepts will be explained in class using this app and projection.
